Description:
APIXAN 2.5mg Tablet contains Apixaban 2.5 mg. It is an oral anticoagulant (Factor Xa inhibitor) used to prevent and treat blood clots.
Uses:
Prevents stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation
Prevents deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE)
Prevents blood clots after hip or knee replacement surgery
Used in certain patients requiring long-term anticoagulation
Dose:
Usually 2.5 mg twice daily or as prescribed by your doctor
Can be taken with or without food
Take at the same time each day
Duration depends on the condition and your doctor's advice
