LOSARVA 50 mg contains Losartan Potassium 50 mg. It is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) medicine used to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Uses:

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
Reduction of the risk of stroke in appropriate patients with hypertension
Management of diabetic nephropathy (kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes)
Management of heart failure when prescribed
Helps reduce cardiovascular complications associated with uncontrolled blood pressure

Dose:

Adults: Usually 50 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
Dose may be adjusted to 25–100 mg daily depending on the patient's condition and response
