METAVAS MR 35 mg contains Trimetazidine Hydrochloride Modified Release 35 mg. It is an anti-anginal medicine used to improve the energy metabolism of heart cells, helping the heart function more efficiently during reduced blood flow.

Uses:

Long-term treatment of stable angina pectoris (chest pain due to coronary artery disease)
Helps reduce the frequency of angina attacks
Improves exercise tolerance in patients with chronic stable angina
Used as an add-on therapy when first-line anti-anginal medicines are insufficient or not tolerated

Dose:

Adults: Usually 35 mg twice daily with meals, or as directed by a physician
