ESOTOR 40 mg Tablet contains Esomeprazole 40 mg. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medicine used to reduce stomach acid production by blocking acid secretion in the stomach.

Uses:

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Relief of heartburn, acid reflux, and sour stomach symptoms
Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers
Prevention and treatment of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers
Management of excessive stomach acid production conditions (as prescribed)

Dose:

Adults: Usually 40 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
Take the tablet 30–60 minutes before meals, preferably before breakfast
Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew
Dose and duration depend on the severity of the condition and treatment response
