LYRINEX 50 mg contains Pregabalin 50 mg. It is an anticonvulsant and neuropathic pain medicine used to treat nerve pain, certain seizure disorders, fibromyalgia, and generalized anxiety disorder (where approved).

Uses:

Treatment of neuropathic (nerve) pain
Adjunctive therapy for partial-onset seizures
Management of fibromyalgia
Treatment of generalized anxiety disorder (as prescribed)

Dose:

Adults: Usually 150–600 mg daily in 2–3 divided doses, or as directed by a physician
Treatment is often started at a lower dose and increased gradually based on response and tolerability
Take the medicine with or without food
Dose adjustment may be required in patients with kidney impairment
Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice, as the dose should be tapered gradually
