Description

Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that works by damaging the fungal cell membrane, helping stop the growth of fungi and yeasts causing eye infections.

Uses

It is used for:

Fungal keratitis
Fungal eye infections caused by filamentous fungi and Candida species

Typical Dose

Apply a thin layer into the conjunctival sac (inside lower eyelid)
Usually applied every 4 hours daily
Use exactly as advised by a doctor

How to Take

Wash hands before and after use
Pull down the lower eyelid gently
Apply a small amount without touching the tube tip to the eye
Close the eye gently for a short time after application
Complete the full treatment course even if symptoms improve
