Description:
SELOMET 25 Tablet contains Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg. It is a selective beta₁-blocker used to treat high blood pressure, angina (chest pain), certain heart rhythm disorders, and to reduce the risk of complications after a heart attack.
Uses:
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Angina pectoris (chest pain)
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Prevention of complications after myocardial infarction (heart attack)
Dose:
- Usually 25–50 mg once or twice daily or as directed by a doctor.
- Can be taken with or immediately after food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water.
- Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice.
