Description:
AMBOLYT 15mg/5ml Syrup 200ml contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride 15 mg/5 ml. It is a mucolytic (expectorant) used to loosen and remove thick mucus from the airways.
Uses:
- Relieves productive (wet) cough
- Loosens thick mucus
- Helps clear chest congestion
- Used in bronchitis and other respiratory conditions with excessive mucus
Dose:
- Adults: Usually 10 ml 2–3 times daily, then may be reduced to 10 ml twice daily
- Children: Dose depends on age and should be given as directed by a doctor
- Take with or without food and drink plenty of fluids
- Dose and duration should be adjusted only by a doctor
