LOVAPRES 5 mg contains Amlodipine 5 mg. It is a calcium channel blocker medicine used to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow by relaxing the blood vessels.

Uses:

Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension)
Treatment of chronic stable angina (chest pain)
Treatment of vasospastic (Prinzmetal's) angina
Helps reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension

Dose:

Adults: Usually 5 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
Dose may be adjusted to 2.5–10 mg once daily depending on the patient's condition and response
Take the medicine with or without food at the same time each day
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice
Regular blood pressure monitoring is recommended during treatment
