ESOTOR 20 mg Tablet contains Esomeprazole 20 mg. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) medicine that reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the acid-producing pumps in the stomach.

Uses:

Treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Relief of heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion symptoms
Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers
Prevention and treatment of NSAID-induced stomach ulcers
Management of excessive stomach acid production conditions (as prescribed)

Dose:

Adults: Usually 20 mg once daily, or as directed by a physician
Take the tablet 30–60 minutes before meals, preferably before breakfast
Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew
Dose and duration depend on the condition and response to treatment
Do not stop or change the dose without medical advice
